Today the final battle is over.....The yesterday nights sleep was cut short to 4 hours due to subconsious battle going on in the mind............Got up in one shot at 6 and read the yesterdays newspaper.....Somewhere there was a constant self pampering that everything will go well today ....I was trying to divert my mind and was trying hard to prevent thinking abt positive and negative consequences dat might follow after todays event gets over.
I quickly took a nap for another hour before the panic got set in........I suddenly realised that lot of thinks are left to be revised and there was hardly anytime left before I was to get ready to leave for the Lion's Den..
I quickly gathered some strength and called up few people to take some tips and also revise as much as I can...
After half n hour I dressed up in a chick Black suit and left for the "Battle Royale" .............On reaching the venue I looked up in sky to god, took a deep breadth, and entered the hallowed corridors of power, where my inner power was to be tested today by throwing me in front of 5 hungry beasts ready to cut my testicles off and that to without me even knowing about it....
So I entered the hall which was full of nervous goats ready to be slaughtered in a few minutes.......
The first goats of every table entered their respective slaughter rooms while others wished them 'Luck' (at the same time getting some solace deep inside that they got extra half an hour before they too get slaughtered by the oldies)..........................
So the clock ticked and everyone was waiting nervously for their turn ...........Then suddenly the first batch came out..Surprisingly many came out with happy faces......I wonder whether that happiness was for coming out alive from the clutches of the hungry monsters. Few looked wounded but more or less others came out with a smile on face.
This gave us some strength and a sense of hope that we might also manage to avoid the assault by the hangmen.........I found some college mates of mine and so I could turn into a typical dceite
hanging vellah from table to table chatting and passing time....This helped me to divert my attention from the danger dat was approaching fast and thus helped me settle my nerve.....
Within few minutes the moment of truth arrived, as the peon called my name and took me near the room (just like a butcher drags a poor goat to the slaughter room).......I adjusted my Tie and entered the room where my fate was to be decided....
The onslaught began and the greyhounds pounced upon me finding me defenseless and at there mercy....However to my surprise the onslaught was much milder then wat i expected and managed to tackle them somehow.........After 30 minutes of wrestling I could come out of the ring with few scratches and wounds here n there....but over all manged to survive............
As I came out of the room and walked through the hallowed corridors of power I could sense myself having absorbed some part of it and felt little stronger and powerful.
I looked up in the sky again and thanked god, took a deep breadth and moved out of the gate....
So my work is done. I have got over with my final stage and now its all upto the almighty to shape my destiny and reward my 2 years of extreme hardwork................Lets see wats in store for me 1 month from now...............I hope the Luck be with me..........Chao!!

God has been Graceful.............and so I could make it..........
So after yesterdays nervous night the bright sun rose again and it brought with it the rays of happiness and triumph. After an hours adrenaline rush I finally got to hear the golden words from one of my friends that I have cleared the penultimate stage of my journey.
It was a gr8 moment which I can not explain in words. Two years of extreme hardwork has been partially rewarded.Although I lost many of my fellow journey men in this stage but I still feel proud and happy that I could still keep the flag flying high, and hope dat I would be able to make it through the final stage as well and emerge victorious.
Finally I want to thank the almighty for being so kind and generous. It was a gr8 gift that I received today as there is nothing sweeter than achieving what one aimed at and seing one's hardwork getting rewarded.I am very happy.
So thank you God, thanx to my family and thanx to every person who helped me to reach this stage.........
Tommorow the Battle for the Final Stage Begins............................................
Wish me Luck!! Chao.

The D Day arrives and the Nervousness grips!!
Hey!! This post is not about a thought on any issue, but the state of mind dat I am in right now....""Tommorrow is the D day"". After 2 years of real hard work and complete devotion, its the D Day,the result declaration day of the penultimate stage of my journey....i dont know how to cope up with the anxiety and nervousness thats prevailing right now.
With uncertainity and fear gripping mind and body , I am trying my level best to console myself dat everything would be fine and I would triumph and emerge victorious just like I did at other ocassions.....But still the fear overcomes rationality...........
Even the soulful contact with the almighty temporarily calms down the body but again succumbs to the pressure...........Its like a gun with a single bullet pointed at your head and somebody presses the trigger...........In a moment you can be a dead meat or the next moment rule the world.........
In a moment one can be a Hero or a Zero in the eyes of the result oriented world....The world which only looks towards the rising sun and turns its back towards the fading one.....
Where success has many fathers but the failure is an orphan........Where success is embraced with open arms and failure is shooed away to die a slow death..........
I did my best and gave my 100%...dats the only consolation I have at the moment.... Internal peace prevails when I think dat I left no stone unturned and did my work with almost complete honesty........
Now its the turn of my almighty to bless his already blessed child with another of his bounty...................Lets see what tommorrow has in store for me...............
Its a big day.............and I hope it turns out to be a happy day as well for me...........
In Bhagwad Geeta its said that " Karam Kar aur Fal kee iccha Mat kar "..........When I started this journey I kept this in mind and even throughout these two years I kept this in mind.............But now when I have reached closer to my destination "Fal kee iccha hone lag gayee hai"" ...lolz......
(kya karein dil to aakhir dil hai)...............................
Well whatever happens tommorrow I must say dat I would thank my god for whatever he has given me in life.......................I hope he keeps me blessed throughout my life..........
Wish me Luck!! Chao!!

Maestro...Genius...Living Legend ............... what makes Sachin so special!!
Cricket the so called religion in India is unique in a way dat its the only thing that brings people of all religions to exult and celebrate together under one umbrella...its one uniting power that barges all obstacles and religious boundaries , making them a unified whole.....
So is the charisma of ,popularily acclaimed by 100 crore sensibilities as "The God of Cricket", Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar that the day India wins topped with a century by the maestro, it turns into a day of festive celebration for the whole nation.......The nations exults and cherishes the effort of its son with whole hearted celebration which sometimes turns into a kind of madness.
Yesterday nation went beserk when the maestro played music with his bat, to hit the first Double Century in the history of one day internationals and demolished the South African bowling attack. It was a treat to watch the epitome of cricket world at his best.
However a question arises dat is Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar the finest batsmen ever that this game has produced over the period of 5 decades. There are some contenders to this throne of finest ever batsmen in one day internationals with "Adam Gilchrist" being one of the strongest contenders with his impeccable record of snatching victory from the jaws of defeat for his team consistently.( others being Brian Lara and Ricky Ponting.)
However in my view Adam Gilchrist is a much stronger contender then the other two to give competetion to the little master....Adam Gilchrist has been another magician of the game who has played some unbelievable knocks for his country and nearly demolished the opponent bowling attacks into rubbles. The brilliance of Adam to play under pressure in second innings and nearly win games single handedly for his team is unparalled and even sachin lacks on this count...........There has hardly been any batsmen in the world to match this ability of Adam Gilchrist..( may be his teammate Michael bevan was gud at this skill).........
It was unfortunate on Gilchrists part that he could not lead Aussies in too many games as he shared the era of Waughs and Pontings who didnt do anything wrong to let Captaincy slip off there hands......But still contribution of Gilchrist to modern Cricket has been immense....He could be remembered as a Crusader who demolished opposition attack almost everytime his team wanted him to do so................He was a nightmare for opposition, whether he opened the batting or came lower down the order at number 6 in test matches..........His innings in two world cup finals have been testimonial to his uncanny knack of coming out big and hard on the Big days and deliver when its required the most.....................
So to the dissatisfaction and disagreement of many people I would have rated Gilchrist slightly better than Sachin in terms of the best ever, as one crucial area Sachin has dissapointed
has been the second inning scores of sachin which are more a test of character of a batsman.....The under pressure situations are really the times when one shows his or her mental temperament and class.................Except at Sharjah against Aussies there hasnt been many knocks by sachin where he has been able to finish off the game for his team under pressure in second innings...............
However even then, the pressure and burden of 1 Billion hopes and expectations which sachin shoulders is unimaginable and unmatchable...It makes me crazy to imagine how a little person handles this burden and has been performing with it for past 20 years continuously without any break.....This is the Genius of the Little Master that makes him what he is today and Justifies all the accolades and titles bestowed over him.......
He is the Maestro...He is the Little Master...He is the Genius...He is the Patriot.

Grass is always Greener on the otherside!!
Offlate I realised that each one of us perceptively draw out all the miseries embedded in our pityful and self proclaimed miserable lives and, simultaneously on the other hand, crib over, all the bounties of God bestowed over every other person around us making him or her 1000 times happier then we are. Thats wat I call as "HUMAN NATURE" .
We tend to glorify ourselves by mentioning again and again to ourselves and people around, about the battle we are fighting, by living a life devoid of majority of worldly pleasures thus making us delve in the sea of sadness every now and then, whereas every other person seems to be enjoying the greener pastures of life with problems not even in his vicinity.
However the proverbs came into existence as the translation of the divine words and thus proved to be true in every sphere of life since time immemorial and so is the proverb dat "GRASS IS ALWAYS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE".
We are in a habit of weighing happiness in proportion to the materialistic belongings one possess whether its the quick bucks the rich guy makes on monthly basis (the fat pay cheques!!) or the swanky BMW 7 series parked outside the posh Bungalow. The size of single Diamonds in the Necklace and its shine testifys for the happiness of the lady wearing it. The diamond studded Rolex watch makes us believe that its always this man's time who has caged the happier time in his diamond studded Rolex and would never let it go , so that he always remain happy.
His Armani suit will always reflect the bad omen away with its shine and will always prevent from the rough weather. However we tend to forget that all these material things are nothing but a product of the artificial face of the society and its sole purpose is to portray a greener grass for others to be attracted to.To keep them at bay and longing for it. To make them feel inferior and give our Ego's fodder to feed upon and get satisfied. To glorify our status and contribution to the society.
However by no means this illusionary happiness is lasting. It vanishes with time in a short while once we get use to it and also the society around us.Then we tend to take all this for granted and again try to dig out some problem from our self proclaimed disasterly life to crib and at same time praise others. We tend to forget wat we have and also wat others dont have wat we have.....and only remember wat we dont have in comparison to the other people.
Happiness is a dish with many ingredients...........It cannot be simply put in terms of money...The most important ingredient is the health of a person and his family..Without health no worldy pleasure would last....The problem is that we dont realize its value untill weactually fall ill....
Similarily, the harmonious presence of our loved once around us is the other most important ingredient o happiness.....Just imagine having billions of dollars and jewels on a lonely island with no one to show those dollars, jewels or car....Ultimately all are inanimate things which r of no use in isolation and require our people to enjoy it with. But we dont realise the happiness associated with it untill we loose our loved ones.y
Thus we should try to weigh the happiness of others in terms of above parameters to truely estimate the richness of the person....Money is important to fulfill our basic needs of luxury but beyond dat its our health and loved ones that counts.....
We need to cherish wat we already have in terms of above ingredients and should not waste our life cribbing for wat we dont have........Remember Life is too short...Enjoy it to the fullest!!....................and also dat Grass always luks greener on the other side but if u luk carefully towards ur side then you will find dat Grass on our side is green enough to survive on it and lead a happy life!!

Look towards the future !!
For the first time in history Indians are beginning to emerge from a struggle against want into an age when the large majority will soon be at ease. Like many parts of Asia, India too is slowly turning into a middle class nation. This is not happening uniformly--Gujarat is well ahead of Bihar, but even Bihar will catch up. At that point poverty will not vanish, but the poor will come down to a manageable level and the politics of the country will also change. This is the good news.
Two trends, one good and one bad, have defined India’s first decade of the 21st century. The good trend is that prosperity has begun to spread, largely as a result of high economic growth. The second trend is the simultaneous rise in corruption. The lazy minded will connect the two trends, but in fact they are quite independent. High growth has been fostered by economic reforms and corruption is due to the lack of the reform of state institutions. The bad news is that prosperity is spreading alongside the most appalling governance. In the midst of a booming private economy, Indians despair over the delivery of the simplest public services. It used to be the other way around. During our socialist days we despaired over economic growth but we were proud of our institutions. Today, the Indian state is in steady decline. Where it is desperately needed--in providing education, health, and drinking water--it continues to perform appallingly. Where it is not needed, it is hyperactive in tying us in miles of red tape.
When I speak of governance failure, I am not thinking only of the politician--Madhu Koda--caught with a bribe. Almost every transaction of the Indian citizen with the state is morally flawed. I have to renew my driver’s license in a few weeks and I am already worried if I will have to bribe someone. It is the poor, however, who depend most on public services and are the least capable of paying bribes. Year after year Transparency International ranks India amongst the most corrupt. In 2005, of the 11 public services it surveyed, India’s police were the most corrupt with 80% of the citizens admitting that they had to bribe someone in the police to get their work done. 40% had paid a bribe to influence the legal system. One in three parents reported bribing a government school or primary health centre. Yet it is these schools and health centres where one in four teachers is absent and where two out of five doctors do not show up. A farmer in an Indian village cannot hope to get a clear title to his land without bribing the patwari or talathi. It is only when I discovered, however, that one out of five members of the Indian parliament in 2004 had criminal charges against him did I lose hope.
What is eating away at our moral fabric is thus not the big scam which grabs the headlines—jehadi terrorism, Gujarat 2002, Naxalism. It is these quiet, everyday failures. When a school teacher is absent, he wounds the dharma of our society, which has always regarded the guru on a pedestal. He also gives his students a terrible lesson in civic virtue. Governance failure is both institutional and moral. If you punished one absentee school teacher, the others would show up. But to teach with inspiration, you need the call of dharma. Artha, material well being, and dharma, moral well being, are two out of the four aims of the sensible Indian way of life. While artha is rising, dharma has been falling during the past decade.
Hence, the reform of the Indian state is even more important today than economic reform. It is also more difficult because it is the rulers who are the oppressors and have the most to lose. We desperately need police, judicial, administrative and political reform. Many societies that we admire today, such as the UK, once suffered from poor governance. But they threw up leaders—Gladstone, Disraeli, Thatcher—who had the courage to fight vested interests and implement reforms. It is one thing to win power and another to wield it. The Congress party has learned to win elections but it has forgotten that it will be thrown out unless it improves governance.
